Minotti Cucine: Japanese Kitchen

This Minotti Cucine kitchen was inspired by Japan, specifically, the shoji partitions that connect/separate rooms in a traditional Japanese home, as well as the house and garden.

The beauty of the Hanami kitchen lies in the balance of verticals and horizontals. Which are not only decoration but are functional: they serve as handles. The material is a fossil tree that has been stored in the bowels of nature for thousands of years. The contrast is marble with characteristic thin white veins from the Luce di Carrara collection. Designed by Alberto Minotti.
