11 useful products from IKEA for those who want to make the bathroom a place of relaxation

A bath shelf, candles, a bathrobe – we tell you what IKEA has to create a truly relaxing bathroom at home.

Soak in the bath after a long day at work, relax, and come out full of strength and energy. Want to? Such an environment can be created at home, and using quite affordable things from the mass market.

1. Bath shelf

In the process of taking a long bath, you simply cannot do without a stand where you can put a book or put a glass of water. IKEA has a Bamboo Havern bath shelf, it is 70 cm long and has comfortable recesses that will not let it fall. We do not recommend placing equipment on such a stand, because the risk of falling into the water still remains. We must not forget about safety: using electrical devices in the bath is not only dangerous for them, but also for life.

2. Candles

To create a cozy atmosphere, use candles, IKEA sells many options for scented candles: Luvare in a glass or aluminum tray, Blomdorf, and Veldoft shaped candles in a patterned glass, as well as the new Osinlig collection in a ceramic cup. Large candles will fill the bath with a pleasant aroma, and a few small ones placed around the perimeter of the bath will add light.

3. LED candles

In addition to conventional candles, you can use LED options. They are battery-operated, so be careful not to place them on the edge of the tub or where they could fall into the water. In the Godafton collection, you can find both single pieces and a set of two, three, or six candles.

4. Artificial plants

Put some artificial flowers in the bathroom, they will liven up the interior and help create a spa atmosphere. IKEA has a varied selection: the Faika collection includes both large independent plants in pots and sets of three small plants in pots. Instead of a full-fledged flower, you can buy individual branches from the Smikka collection. Choose suitable plants depending on the size of the room.

5. Living plants

In addition to artificial ones, IKEA also sells live plants. If you do not have natural light in your bathroom, then it is better to give preference to unpretentious colors, for example, pick up a plant from the Succulents collection.

6. Sponge

In the process of taking a bath, you can not do without a sponge. IKEA has a set of Obion sponges of three pieces in different colors: white, blue, and pink.

7. Large bath towel

It is important to have a large bath towel, which perfectly absorbs moisture from the whole body. IKEA has four types of towels in different colors. All-cotton “Vikfjord”, “Himleon” and “Vogsyon”, differ in the density of the yarn and the type of pattern. And also “Kornan” – from a mixture of cotton and viscose. The terry towel will help to create maximum comfort in the course of bath procedures.

8. Bath mat

To keep the atmosphere of comfort and convenience after leaving the bath, you will need a rug. IKEA has both the super-soft Almtjern and the more familiar Emten and Alstern options. Several color options allow you to fit these rugs into any interior.

9. Bathrobe

To prolong the atmosphere of relaxation after the end of the bath procedures, take a terry bathrobe. IKEA sells Kruson with a hood and Rokkon without it, they all perfectly absorb moisture, as they are one hundred percent cotton.

10. Slippers

Not only the upper body needs warmth and comfort. For feet, you need comfortable indoor shoes that will help create the atmosphere of a spa. IKEA sells Toshen slippers, which are made entirely of polyester, and Fegen, which contain fifty percent wool.

11. Cart

If the size of the bathroom allows, buy a cart on wheels. On it, you can place everything you need for bath procedures, and it will also be convenient to move it around the room to get the things you need. IKEA sells trolleys in a variety of colors and materials. Metal “Nissafors” and “Hornavan” with mesh pallets, as well as a compact “Vesken” made of polypropylene.
