Oasis in the living room: eco-style room interior

Today, at the peak of popularity, design involves the use of natural materials and natural shades. We bring to your attention the option of decorating the living room in eco-style.

The eco-style living room project, in which the warm tones of wooden surfaces and rich plant shades are balanced. It was decided not to change the wood-like porcelain stoneware on the floor, as it fit well into the overall “natural” concept of the interior. The plinth was installed on a box in which the heating pipes were hidden, and the radiators were covered with decorative screens. The multi-level ceiling made it possible to organize different lighting scenarios for each functional area of the room.

The complex geometry of the hemmed structure was played up along the contour with LED lighting. One of the walls was tinted with mustard yellow paint, the other was decorated with moss phytopanels, framing the composition with a mosaic with a 3D effect of light marble pieces.

The portal for the fireplace, which is a simplified outline of the stove, was welded from a profile pipe and painted brown. The table top of the fireplace table was pasted over with the so-called flexible slate (a thin cut of natural stone 1–2 mm thick). An electric hearth with the effect of a living flame created by an ultrasonic steam generator was installed on it, and the space between the legs was filled with real logs as decoration.

At the heart of the three-dimensional structure with oak panel cladding, passing from the wall of the room to the ceiling is a complex frame made of a metal profile and chipboard. The symmetry of the pattern of rhomboid modules stacked according to the honeycomb principle is broken in order to give the composition dynamics.

The coffee table is made according to the sketches of the authors of the project. Alder stumps were used as legs. The basis for the tabletop was a furniture board with two sides, on which multi-colored stabilized (preserved) moss was glued, and covered with a sheet of transparent tempered glass on top.
