Giant origami

Three identical structures are connected by the Aquili Alberg architects into a single and represent the future appearance of the Benetton Group Headquarters complex.

Due to the rotation of each of the elements, the composition has acquired pronounced dynamics and, as conceived by the authors, embodies the transformation of a two-dimensional symbol into a three-dimensional volume.

As a result, the building promises to look like a huge origami figurine, though made not of paper, but of high-tech building materials.

In the near future, the capital of Iran will be decorated with a new building with eight above-ground and four underground levels.

The designers intend to distribute the target load of the internal premises as follows: the lower tier will accommodate commercial space and parking, the higher-office premises, and the upper floors of the Benetton Group Headquarters will be used as residential apartments.
