6 Reasons You Should Add Pampas Grass to Your Interior

Cortaderia, or pampas grass, has begun to gain popularity in the interior design along with the demand for boho-chic and eco-decor. Fluffy grasses add the rustle of fields to a city apartment, elegantly complement minimalism and Scandinavian style, and give sophistication to even the simplest rooms. See for yourself – there are many reasons.

1. Bouquets and compositions of dried flowers

If you like to make bouquets of dried flowers, then Cortaderia will greatly simplify your task. She can become the main character of your bouquet because of her splendor. Add dried dark roses and dried (or artificial) green leaves to it – and that’s it, the bouquet is ready.

2. Bedroom decor

Don’t you think that the pampas grass in the bedroom looks very peaceful? Put it right next to your bed, and let nothing stop you from falling asleep, imagining yourself on the field on a sunny summer day. Just remember to regularly dust both the bouquet and the vase and keep the room humid if necessary. The plant looks very harmonious with natural crumpled linen, which is now at the peak of interior fashion.

3. The long-awaited use of floor vases

If you already have a large floor vase in your home and are waiting on your balcony or mezzanine, it might be time to bring it back into service! A few sprigs of Cortaderia in this vase will brighten up your room. If you have two vases, then you can put them on the sides of a sofa or chair and create symmetry that will make the interior more balanced.

4. Seasonal wreath

Wreaths should decorate doors and walls not only for the New Year. We have already talked about how to weave an autumn wreath, but other seasons can also be celebrated with separate wreaths. And if for autumn decoration we choose bright and saturated colors from wine to orange, then pastel colors are suitable for winter decor: beige, white, light blue, and pale pink. Or you can make a wreath entirely from one Cortaderia (its lush light vegetation resembles snowflakes, don’t you think?). In spring, you can turn to slightly brighter, but still delicate colors: light green, light yellow, pink, lilac. In summer, you can use the Mediterranean range (beige with light blue and white), or give preference to energetic colors like blue, sand, and emerald.

5. Dining table decoration

Is your kitchen table empty? Add just one vase to it with a few sprigs of Cortaderia. It looks minimalist, but the kitchen or dining room already seems more lived-in. Such bouquets look good on countertops made of natural wood, not covered with a tablecloth.

6. Cortaderia in dark interiors

Complements the dark colors of the finish. Place the bouquet next to a dark wall and add lightness and natural charm to it.

The most important thing about our X that it is for
those who are in a hurry
