Swedish architect built cabins for escapism in the middle of nature

Architect Andreas Martin-Löf presented a new hotel concept – the Landet hut for a secluded holiday surrounded by forest. According to his idea, a series of cabins will be located in the Swedish countryside, allowing guests to feel like residents of the region. The project combines laconic Scandinavian design with the idea of a cozy lifestyle in nature and the comfort familiar to hotels. Currently, four structures are available to visitors, while the studio plans to complete six more by the end of this summer. Inside each cabin there is a compact living room with a fireplace, a bedroom, a dining area, and a kitchen. The bathroom has heated floors and a rain shower, offering scenic views of the forest landscape. The project team focused on environmental friendliness: thus, almost all elements and construction systems can be dismantled and transported to a new location.
